Playing guitar from the early age of 8, to playing lead guitar for the biggest name in Pop music that the world has ever known, Jennifer Batten is an American guitarist who has worked as a professional session musician and solo artist. For 10 years (from 1987 to 1997) Jennifer was the guitarist for “The King Of Pop” – Michael Jackson. She played in all three of Michael Jackson's world tours, and recorded with MJ. After Michael, she went on to play lead guitar for and with the iconic Jeff Beck. She has released three studio albums: her 1992 debut, Above Below and Beyond (produced by former Stevie Wonder guitarist Michael Sembello), the worldbeat-influenced Jennifer Batten's Tribal Rage: Momentum in 1997, and Whatever, which was released on CD and DVD in Japan in September 2007 and worldwide in April 2008. She authored two music books: Two Hand Rock (published by Hal Leonard) and The Transcribed Guitar Solos of Peter Sprague. In February of 2017, Jennifer Batten officially joined the D&A Guitar Gear artist roster as she was introduced to songwriter/music producer TONE Scott (D&A company Director) by fellow guitarist Linda Taylor. We are very grateful to have Jennifer Batten aboard!
